Windbell offer a range of different technologies depending on the application required. Today energy efficiency is one of the most important consideration when choosing the right compressed air solution.
What compressor you need : screw , scroll or diesel ? what is the difference between lubricated & oil-free models? What is the best choice to get the most efficiency from your compressed system?
All above will be found answers here.
Rotary screw compressors use rotary movements to compress the air. Within the compressor, there is a set of male and female rotors. They will be designed differently so that, when turned in unison, air will become trapped between them. The male rotor has convex lobes and the female rotor has concave cavities; in this way, they can mesh together without touching to achieve compression. Additionally, the male rotor will have slightly less lobes than the female, meaning it will rotate more quickly, effectively driving the female rotor.
Continuous operation - Capable of continuous airflow and pressurisation, this means that they can operate continuously with little to no downtime.
What is VSD ?
Variable speed drive (sometimes called variable frequency drive) compressors use an intelligent drive system to continuously alter the motor speed to match the air demand. This drive controls the speed (RPM) of the unit depending on the demand, fluctuating the amount of power that is used to perfectly match the output required. When the demand slows, the compressed air system will reduce motor speed and thus the power consumption is also reduced.
No need to unload - the ability to start and stop under full system pressure.
Scroll working principle.
Two spirals turning without any metal-to-metal contact compress the air simply and quietly, with no alternating movements or vibrations. The pumping unit has a simple design with very few moving parts and this makes it extremely reliable.
Compressed air with no oil at all is a specific requirement in a number of manufacturing processes: the pharmaceutical industry, medical labs, in the food and beverages production and packaging sector, industrial painting, etc.
Compressed air is needed for many applications, often in industrial plants and warehouses. However, there are many times when compressed air is needed on building sites or other remote locations. For applications like this, a towable compressor is an indispensable piece of equipment.
Towable and diesel powered air compressors are designed to deliver the same high quality of compressed air to the applications or locations:
